This illustration is part of a series based on Pablo Picasso's famous painting Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. Each image of the series focuses on inspirations from other art and culture recreated in Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. This image focuses on the power that Picasso got from painting various women in his life. I think many of his achievements as a painter are due to the many women who inspired his work, and they are never given as much credit as they should have been given. So, in this print, I wanted to give the power back to all the women who made Picasso the famous painter he became.
