About the art:
This illustration is inspired by Andy Warhol's color-blocking pop art and his 1962 painting Marilyn's Lip. I call my work "Grit" because I believe in never giving up despite the difficulties and uncertainties that life may throw at you. As Warhol showcased in his work, lips can convey many different feelings, and there is a beauty to that.
